Danielle and Adem live in Brighton, but often visit their beach hut in Dorset. They both very much wanted to have this special place feature in their wedding cake design, as well as pay homage to the city where they met and fell in love. As their dogs couldn't be at the big day, it was also important that they make an appearance on the cake too! They chose 3 flavours, carrot, chocolate and a rich fruit cake. The top tier is a recreation of the Royal Pavillion in Brighton, with delicate piping to accurately reflect both the colour and elaborate architecture of this famous building. The middle cake was iced to be a beautiful summer sky, surrounded by flag poles and bunting. The lower tier reflects the many coloured beach huts of the couple's favourite Dorset location, while on the base layer we see Danielle and Adem themselves, enjoying a day at the beach with their two dogs. Each pebble was rolled by hand to give the most realistic effect possible and the overall appearance of the cake had quite an impact on the family and guests! A truly individual and highly personal design that helped make the day very special for both the bride and groom.
